With Sibylle Prinzessin von Preussen (Princess of Prussia) and Grita Götze we present two great and successful artists who are - in each case - among the most extraordinary protagonists in their field.
Both works show an unconditional desire for an expressive language that moves outside the artistic zeitgeist without being out of time.
Both artists know that they draw from the great cultural and intellectual heritage of Europe and the Enlightenment and the associated aesthetics and are able to transform this heritage into a lively visual language with fresh accents.
The premise of grace, the idea of paying homage to creation, the hope that despite the supposed triumph of violence, villainy and war, humanity and beauty will be victorious in the end, show the ethical foundation from which both artists create their wonderful, timeless artwork and enchant the audience.
